Texas is the second most populous state in the United States (after California) and the second largest state, the largest in the Continent USA. Geographically it is located in the south of the center of the country. Texas is the international border with Mexico's Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas states in the south; forms borders with New Mexico in the west, Oklahoma in the north, Arkansas in the northeast and Louisiana in the east.
