Career
Perez was in the team's application Uruguay at the 1916 America's Cup. Uruguay won the tournament, but it did not play in any match.
At the next South American Championship in 1917, he played with Chile, with Brazil and Argentina. Uruguay wins trophy again.
At the 1919 America's Cup, Uruguay became South America's vice champion. Perez played in all 4 matches - with Argentina, Chile (scored a goal), and in two matches with Brazil.
The following year, he played for the last time in the America's Cup tournament. Uruguay won the championship of the continent, and Perez played in all 3 matches - with Argentina, Brazil (scored 2 goals) and Chile (scored a goal). He became the top scorer of the tournament.
Perez played for the Uruguayan national team 28 matches and scored 6 goals [1].
