The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Cooperative Purchasing Program COSTARSedit

  • Path for which eligible local public procurement units and state - affiliated entities are capable of leveraging contracts, which are established by the DGS, in order to efficiently identify suppliers
  • Program Goals:
    • Expand and cultivate opportunities for state - affiliated entities to achieve savings through an interactive partnership with the Commonwealth
    • Facilitate opportunities for suppliers to compete for state - affiliated entities' business
    • Provide contracts with competitive pricing

State Surplus Property Programedit

When the department longer sees the need for use of a specific piece of property, it will see if another department is in need of it; however, if no other department needs it, it will be classified as surplus and be sold in a various of ways

    • Located at 2221 Forster Street, Harrisburg, PA 17103
    • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    • Includes office equipment, computers, office supplies, furniture, etc
