Cambridge is a township in Coos County in the state of New Hampshire In New Hampshire, locations, grants, townships which are different from towns, and purchases are unincorporated portions of a county which are not part of any town and have limited self-government if any, as many are uninhabited Most of the township is forested wilderness, but it contains the southernmost edge of Umbagog Lake, accessed via New Hampshire Route 26 from Errol or from Upton, Maine It contains a section of the 13-Mile Woods Scenic Area along the Androscoggin River New Hampshire Route 16 also crosses the northwest corner of the township The population was 8 at the 2010 census1 It is part of the Berlin, NH–VT Micropolitan Statistical Area

It was granted in 1793 to Nathaniel Rogers and others and contained about 23,160 acres 9,370 ha2
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 511 square miles 1323 km2, of which 504 square miles 1305 km2 is land and 07 square miles 18 km2, or 139%, is water3 The highest point is the summit of Cambridge Black Mountain, at 2,780 feet 850 m above sea level
